STANDWATCH

The carrier record that stands up in court.

Every night, Standwatch checks every carrier on your list against the federal record. At 6am you get one plain-English email — and every check goes into a sealed, tamper-evident file your lawyer can use.

How it works

STEP 1You send your carrier list once — a simple spreadsheet of DOT numbers.
STEP 2Every night at 5:30am we check each one against FMCSA: insurance, operating authority, out-of-service orders, address changes.
STEP 3At 6am, one email. Worst first, plain English, two minutes to read. Quiet nights get an email too — silence you can prove.

The 6am email, on a bad morning

[Standwatch] 2 changes in your 180 carriers — 1 CRITICAL
EXAMPLE CARRIER LLC (DOT 0000000)
Insurance on file dropped to $0 — $750,000 is required; this carrier may not be covered
raw: bipd_insurance: on_file='750' → on_file='0'
This is not a compliance decision. We report changes and preserve the record; a human approves the carrier.
Record: 180 checks chained. Sealed by an independent time-stamping authority.

Why the record matters now

In May 2026 the Supreme Court ruled (Montgomery v. Caribe) that brokers can be sued in state court for negligent carrier selection. The defense that survives is a documented, dated vetting process. Most tools show you data. Standwatch preserves proof:

LayerWhat it proves
Hash chainNobody edited or deleted a single row of your record
Daily RFC 3161 sealAn independent authority attests to when — the record can't be rebuilt or backdated
Raw federal data + screenshotsThe government's own answers, verbatim, plus what the public page showed on critical changes

If a load ever goes wrong, you don't say "we checked." You hand your lawyer a verification packet — and everything in it is independently checkable, without trusting us at all.

What Standwatch is not

This is not a compliance decision. We report changes and preserve the record; a human approves the carrier. Data comes from FMCSA and carries FMCSA's own timing; every email names its source and fetch time.

Who's behind it

Standwatch is built and personally operated by Marcos Neves. You get the operator's own email address, not a ticket queue. Your carrier list stays yours — never shared, never resold — and if you leave, your complete sealed record leaves with you.
